BALSAMIC BERRIES
Serves 4

Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
1 cup fresh blueberries or raspberries (either one or in combination), rinsed
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
4 tablespoons sugar
 
Directions
1.      Place the strawberries, blueberries and raspberries in a non-metal bowl.
2.      Sprinkle the berries with the balsamic vinegar and sugar.
3.      Stir gently to coat and set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4.      Divide the berries among 4 single-size serving dishes.
 
Tip: These berries also make a delicious topping for ice cream, pound cake or shortbread.
