Refrigerate sliced mushrooms in covered container or wrap in aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
To freeze: (1) Steam sliced mushrooms for three minutes or saute mushrooms in butter or margarine until almost done; (2) Let cool, then package in airtight containers or freezer bags and freeze immediately.
Freezer time shown is for best quality only — foods kept constantly frozen at 0° F will keep safe indefinitely.
